Golf Short Game - 5 Golf Short Game Tips to Beef Up Your Game


Golf is the game of gentlemen and ladies finding friendship and time well spent together, but if your game needs some improvement or you just can't seem to go the distance try these 5 golf short game tips.

1. If you are playing a short game during a very hot season your game will improve if you drink plenty of water at cool temperature instead of cold. Your body will function best when you aren't using energy to adjust freezing drinks in your system.

2. Do not put all your energy into the first part of your game. Save it for the distance when you'll need it to finish and you can rest shortly afterward.

3. Use a golf cart for transport if you have health problems. You will still get the exercise you need just by the swings alone and breath in fresh air without gasping for breath after a hike in hot weather. Always wear a hat and good quality sunglasses.

4. Do not over eat heavy foods before a game. Eat light and drink plenty of fluid. This will keep your energy high and won't waste time burning useless calories.

5. Stay calm. Getting angry only distracts from your technique. So if you have a bad shot laugh it off, make a joke and concentrate on the next shot.

If you follow these 5 very simple guidelines your short game will improve and so will your love of the game. As we all know as golfers the game is far more enjoyable when you play it well!
