Most Successful Golf Techniques
Golf is a very difficult sport to master and it requires a lot of practice, time and effort to perfect your golf techniques. Those that have mastered their own golf techniques, or at least tried will start to appreciate the game as both a player and a spectator far more than those that do not understand the difficulty of perfecting your technique.
The main two golf techniques to try and master are the grip and the swing. The first area to try and perfect is the golf grip. Your grip is the only contact that you have with the club, and the club is the only contact you have with the ball. The grip is the start of the process, the beginning link between you and the ball. If this link is weak, it affects the whole chain. Many people have their own preference when it comes to this technique; however there are two main points to consider when trying to master this area of your game.
Pressure: If you grip the club too tight you will end up with a weak swing as most of your power will be concentrated to holding the club. Hold it too loose though and the swing will also be too weak or even worse you may let go of the club! A gentle but firm grip of the club will allow you to hit the ball with just the right amount of power while maintaining an accurate swing.
Position your hands: This, like many golf techniques, is down to personal preference and comfort. There are several different grips used by players, some have their hands overlapping, which is the method most instructors teach as being the proper way of playing golf, however some players have their fingers interlocked. While it is a technique which is very popular with beginners, there are some very good players which use this technique.
The golf swing is the final link in the chain, now connecting your club to the ball. Before stepping up to the ball, stand behind it and visualise the line between the ball and the target. Once you have visualised the line you want the ball to take, you need to approach the ball and begin your swing. Many people find that the easiest way to learn this golf technique is by watching others. In fact one of the greatest golfers of all time, Tiger Woods, has said on several occasions that he learnt how to play golf by watching his dad play and copying his golf techniques and then perfecting them.
Other tips for improving your golf techniques include perfecting your stance, spacing between your legs and your balance. Each of these factors will vary depending on the particular player, the course, and even the weather!
Regardless of the amount of tips you read, or advice that is given to you by experts or professionals, the best way to perfect your golf techniques is to practice! Golf techniques which work well for one player, may not work for another, you will need to practice and tweak your techniques as you play to find the perfect technique for you. However, don't forget that you are playing golf; you are playing because it is a game, and a game should be enjoyable! So make sure that you do not put too much pressure on yourself to get that hole in one, or get your swing perfect, relax and enjoy the game and your golf techniques will improve as you play!

An animated Western with a chameleon as the hero is an unlikely concept, but Rango is a great film thanks to its witty mix of parody, intriguing characters, and sophisticated humor. When a common pet chameleon who's suffering from an identity crisis crashes headfirst into the stereotypically classic Western town of Dirt, he has the unique opportunity to completely reinvent himself. Dubbing himself Rango, the chameleon boasts of his own heroism and creates a spiral of deception that lands him an appointment as sheriff of a town in crisis. The question is, can one unprepared and completely unqualified chameleon possibly change this little town's future for the better? And how do road kill, enlightenment, and the Spirit of the West figure in to the equation? The animation looks great in this film and kids will love the goofy characters and crazy scenarios. But adults will find the film intriguing on a whole different level because of its comic parody of the iconic classic and spaghetti Western genres and the skilled balance of action, romance, and adventure. Kudos to director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) and the talented voice cast, among them Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Ned Beatty, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, and Bill Nighy, for an award-worthy film.
